The Common European Language Indication and Analysis (CELIA) Project aims to develop an AI-based 'language indication' tool to be used across the EU. The intended aim is to help authorities with the identification and determination of the country of origin of asylum applicants. The project is currently in the development stage. At this stage, only Arabic dialects are considered.
